1 Corinthians 12:3B-7. 12-13 As we leave Easter we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, and the Gift of the Holy Spirit. St Paul reminds us that we recieve that same Loving Spirit as the Apostles which makes us – not just individuals, but parts of One Body of the Church – regardless of who we are.

1 John 4:11-16 As the East Season draws to a close we reflect on the focus of John’s 1st Letter – Love of God. Love isn’t just what God does, but what God is – the Loved, the Lovd and the Love between them – a Trinitarian God of Love.

1 John 3:18-24 Our faith has its foundations in Love for others, knowledge of God’s commandments & belief in Christ as Lord. This Sunday’s 2nd Reading invites us to reflect on all 3, but forces us to ackowledge that these don’t ‘just happen’ but requre our action.
