Easter is the most important time in the Liturgical Calendar. We gather to recall the Institution of the Eucharist, the Priesthood and the Church; commemorate Jesus’s Christ’s Suffering and Death on the Cross; and to loudly and warmly proclaim his victory over death and his Resurrection.
It is truly a joy that we are able to come together in both our Parishes to celebrate the most sacred nights of the Church, “The Easter Triduum”. It is, however, vitally important that you book in advance!
Should Government advice change, which means we have to change our plans – we will share these changes with you!
While vaccines are beginning to be rolled out, we still have to make sure we properly guard against COVID-19. This means that 2m Social Distancing will still be enforced, and that maximum attendance is capped at 50 people.
Our Lady of Perpetual Succour
Both parishes will follow the laws and guidelines in force to make sure we are able to celebrate Holy Week and the Easter Season in safety.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” [2 Corinthians 5:17]
